Consultation and examination
The first step to a healthy and radiant smile
Comprehensive initial examination
Once someone experiences it, they know that toothaches, dental damage, or even tooth loss can greatly affect quality of life. Regular care and thorough examinations are therefore particularly important for sustainable dental health. To ensure the best possible treatment, we get a clear picture of our patients. Pre-existing conditions, current complaints, and general needs play a central role. In an initial check-up, every tooth, the oral cavity, and the jaw are meticulously inspected. All findings are documented in our system. To examine areas that are not visible to the naked eye, it makes sense to take an X-ray of the teeth and jaw afterwards. Depending on the findings, we discuss the further treatment needs, possible therapies, and procedures with our patients. The pros and cons of possible procedures are explained in detail, and any associated costs are transparently presented. The quote provided includes a cost estimate, which we adhere to. Our patients have the opportunity to decide whether and when a possible treatment should begin in the comfort of their own home. For questions and appointment bookings, we are available personally by phone, email, or WhatsApp chat.

We take the time to tailor our approach to your individual situation.
From the initial examination and informational discussion to the appointment
02
Photos and X-rays
As part of our diagnostics, we assess your dental health by taking photos of your teeth and oral cavity, and if necessary, we also take X-rays. Our goal is to identify potential problems early, even if they are not visibly apparent on the surface.
03
Discussion of findings
We discuss our findings and diagnoses, as well as possible treatment options, carefully and thoroughly. We place great emphasis on explaining what is necessary, possible, and advisable.
04
Cost calculation and treatment plan
The entire treatment plan is compiled in an organized manner. We calculate the exact costs and list them in the cost estimate. Necessary treatment steps and appointments are listed so that you always have an overview. Additionally, we provide you with the option to access the photos and X-rays if you wish to seek a second opinion. Because making a good decision takes time and trust.
We are here for you and happy to assist with any questions you may have at any time.
If necessary, we also take an additional X-ray.
Common symptoms and treatment options
Tooth decay and toothaches There are many causes of toothaches, with a common one being a cavity caused by oral bacteria. Deep cavities reaching the tooth root can quickly cause pain. However, this is not always the case; tooth decay can also occur unnoticed, leading to tooth death. The dentist removes damaged areas with a drill, cleans the affected areas, and then seals them with a durable material. In rare cases, when the tooth is severely damaged, a deeper root canal treatment may be necessary, or tooth extraction may be required. Gum inflammation Gum inflammation is favored by harmful bacteria and various accompanying factors. This can quickly lead to periodontitis or periodontal disease. This disease typically progresses chronically and painlessly. In advanced stages, this can lead to tooth loosening and subsequent tooth loss. This occurrence is preventable if gum inflammation is detected and treated early. Destroyed teeth and tooth loss In cases of severely damaged teeth or after severe gum inflammation, tooth extraction may be necessary. If so, tooth loss should be restored to prevent overloading of the remaining teeth and jaw joints. Solid teeth also play an important role in speaking, chewing, and overall quality of life. Modern dentistry can help in these situations. Unsightly and discolored teeth Unsightly, discolored, crooked, and plaque-covered teeth not only affect aesthetics but can also have negative health consequences. Persistent dental plaque prevents effective oral hygiene and promotes the development of gum inflammation and tooth decay. Professional dental hygiene can be particularly helpful in this regard. With modern techniques in aesthetic dentistry, the shape and appearance of teeth can also be optimized according to your wishes. Further symptoms and treatments A variety of other diseases and complaints can arise in the dental, oral, and jaw areas. It is important for us to understand the exact course of the complaints, the nature of the pain, the duration, and the type of health impairments, together with you. Only through a thorough examination and comprehensive dental discussion can we reach a correct diagnosis and successful therapy. Feel free to schedule an initial examination appointment for this purpose.
